Blogging is a funny thing: one day you’re in and the next day you’re out.
When I started Teacups & Buttondrops back in 2010, I didn’t imagine that I would still have the same blog with the same name 9 years later. For me, starting a blog, was a journey into the unknown. It was, after all, a relatively new way of communication whose full potential had still yet to be recognised.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to work with many brands; create pieces to read which I love; rediscover my love of photography and meet people at events who I would never had met had it not been for blogging. The opportunities and experiences I have had through it are irreplaceable.
However, over the past few months, I have felt incredibly detached from my blog. In short, I wasn’t enjoying it. I got to the point that I thought about
giving it up completely but then I realised that I love having a creative output. It is something that I have always had since I was a small child: I had Art all the way through School; Photography in Uni and then my blog after that.
Therefore, I have decided to let myself to continue to have that creative output which I so love and focus on a rebrand with content that is relevant to the things I love.
So without further ado, welcome to Edited by Amey.
