That side is of the forest is called Kirkhill but it's quite a long walk ( http://scotland.forestry.gov.uk/visit/kirkhill ) there is a short and flatter walk on the other side called Tyrebagger.. ( http://scotland.forestry.gov.uk/visit/tyrebagger ) both are lovely walks and well work a visit!! 🙂 x
