Working full-time and maintaining a blog is pretty damn hard. I would honestly love nothing more than to work on my blog full-time but alas there’s something called bills that I have to pay and currently this blog will not pay them!
Needless to say, my time is limited and so a free weekend usually turns into a blog/catch-up on life admin weekend.
I love seeing behind the scenes blog posts so I thought I would take you through what a typical full blog day looks like for me.
6.30-7am:
Wake-up bleary eyed and stumble through to the kitchen to switch the kettle on for Coffee.
7-7.30am:
Devour coffee while scrolling through social media channels (Twitter, Insta & Facebook).
7.30am:
Write the day’s to-do list. Usually my to-do list includes photography, copy, editing, future planning and Social Media management.
8am:
Write copy and catch-up on emails (whilst remembering to check junk).Following this, I will usually have yet another flick through Social Media.
10-11.30am:
Work my way through my photography to-do list taking full advantage of the morning light.
12.30pm:
Lunch and another scroll through Social Media.
1.30 – 3.30pm:
Continue writing copy.
6.00pm – 9.00pm:
Edit photos from the day and participate in Twitter chats if it is a Sunday.
9.00pm – 10.30pm:
Complete posts/schedule some Social Media.
11pm:
Bed.
